ANALYSIS SOFTWARE ENGINEER

The appointed individual shall be responsible for all analysis software implementation on the company’s tools. This will require the production of data collection, data reduction results computation and display, data logging.

The appointee shall be an integral member of the team and is expected to contribute to regular think tanks and open design discussions while at the same time concentrating on the job in hand. This is a hands on position and will suit an engineer who likes to get results while working at the leading edge of technology.

Produce software analysis, software design, C++ coding, software testing & documentation in line with the project requirements
Participate in preparing all specifications & documentation relating to a given product.

Education

Minimum bachelor’s degree masters preferred in a computing subject.

Experience

Must be conversant with DFT, convolution, correlation and general data reduction programming. Conversant with Windows programming in C or C++,

Desirable

Interfacing memory devices, A/D & D/A converters, I2C, SPI, CAN and other devices and embedded programming as required.

Salary & Benefits negotiable dependant on experience.

DSP SOFTWARE ENGINEER

The appointed individual shall be responsible for all software implementation on the company’s tools.
The appointee shall be an integral member of a small team and is expected to contribute to regular think tanks and open design discussions while at the same time concentrating on the job in hand. This is a hands on position and will suit an engineer who likes to get results while working at the leading edge of technology.

Role

The DSP Software Engineer will design, development & support of real-time embedded C software on bespoke hardware

Also bring-up new hardware, writing software to assist the hardware team in testing new designs as well as writing the final applications for the product
Participate in compression algorithm design & undertake experimental work to measure the performance of different possible solutions

Education

Minimum bachelors degree masters preferred in a computing subject.

Experience

Must be conversant with DFT, convolution, correlation and general embedded programming . Conversant with interfacing memory devices, A/D & D/A converters, I2C, SPI, CAN and other devices as required.

Desirable

Windows programming in C or C++, Good Maths and experience of Matlab for modelling and simulating algorithms.

Salary & Benefits negotiable dependant on experience.
